Answer inbound chats with occasional calls with customers to handle technical support questions and software navigation. Enjoying the convenience and comfort of your home. You'll have the privilege of operating from a location of your choosing, even while unwinding on vacation.

Skills for success

  • Inbound calls to assist customers with orders, the status of an order, repairs, information, recommendations, and more.
  • Easily manage stress, able to work under pressure, and adapt to adverse situations
  • Be knowledgeable and friendly
  • Have experience working in customer service

Responsibilities

  • Inbound chats customer service/technical support.
  • Handle technical support questions via chat and occasional phone with video support chat.
  • Research, analyze and determine an appropriate course of action for customers.
  • Interact with customers via chat focusing on software navigation questions as well as assisting with locating prior years’ returns and amendments.
  • Service as ambassador for the client; take a caring and empathetic approach to customer interactions and/or escalation to higher level of expertise.
  • Document all issues, resolution and follow up action.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Must be able to work 15-20 hours a week (may require weekends)
  • Must have a quiet distraction free work environment
  • Must have computer with minimum specifications or better as needed by client (NO Mac or Chromebooks)
  • Must have a USB headset with microphone (required for training)
  • Must have a hard-wired broadband internet service via DSL, Cable, or Fiber Optic connection
  • Must be able to purchase a call center noise cancelling phone
